At Weglot, transparency has always been ingrained in our culture. As a result, I would like to share some information with you about Weglot’s upcoming price increase, which will impact all new customers as well as upgrades in the coming weeks. 

Our pricing is being updated to reflect the ongoing evolution of Weglot over the past six years and the planned advancements that will be incorporated into the product and where we evolve in the future. 

Firstly, I want to make one thing very clear, the price increase will only apply to new subscriptions. We’ll be applying the grandfathering principle so prices won’t change for existing customers, even at renewal.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be rolling out this pricing update, so you may not see them on the pricing page or in your account just yet – but we wanted to let you know as soon as possible.

Weglot over the last 6 years

Weglot has released many features since we started in February 2016, and our solution has evolved from a JavaScript snippet to a full translation infrastructure solution with advanced editing tools within that timeframe.

Today’s pricing announcement is the first since 2017 and we believe that it reflects the significant advancements and improvements we’ve made to Weglot over the last six years. This pricing update will allow us to invest in delivering an even more robust and complete website translation infrastructure going forward.

It will allow us to continue making valuable future investments and we believe our new pricing also reflects the value Weglot provides for thousands of global customers.

New pricing for Weglot plans

We know that new pricing changes can be challenging to many businesses which is why we’ve chosen to only apply it to the subscription of new plans. The price of your current plan will never change for as long as you keep using that specific plan.

We believe the pricing change will allow us to continue providing the simplest way to translate, display and manage a multilingual website and we’re confident that this will allow us to push that to new heights. As our investment in our product continues to grow our users will be the first to benefit from expanded tools, features, and updates.
