Rémy Berda is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Weglot, a no-code website translation solution that allows all users to instantly launch a multilingual website.

With impressive engineering degrees earned in both France and the United States of America, he entered the startup scene in 2014 with his first venture, a hybrid platform combining elements of Craigslist and Google Maps for buying and selling items. However, faced with numerous challenges, he concluded this venture and returned to the drawing board.

This experience spurred him to take a closer look into an unmet need in the market. Recognizing a lack of robust website translation infrastructure, he was inspired to build a solution that serves as the translation backbone for multilingual websites. In 2016, Weglot was born, created in tandem with co-founder Augustin Prot.

At Weglot, his responsibilities include shaping the strategic direction of the product and ensuring the seamless integration of technology to meet the evolving needs of users. He spends his free time playing board games and video games, running, and whipping up something delicious in the kitchen.
